Policy

In 2015 the DWMA put considerable effort into consultations and negotiations on the new Circular Economy Package presented by the European Commission on 2 December, the details of the export duty which came into force on 1 June, and the drafting of the Third National Waste Management Plan, which the Dutch government wants to complete by the end of 2016.

Slogan

The DWMA added a new slogan to its name – ‘Partner in the circular economy’. This clearly states what the DWMA and its members stand for. Their expertise makes them a crucial part of the process of building a circular economy.

Pieter Hofstra (DWMA):"With their expertise, as well as their innovative capacities, our industry is driving the transition towards the circular economy."
